The fourth of July, also known as the U.S’s independence day has been celebrated in the U.S for many years. The actual independence dates back to the 2 of July 1776 in the 18th century. The 18th century was a time when few colonists who were considered to be radicals wanted to become independent from Great Britain. Later in the year, 1775 more colonists had come into the favor of Independence following hostility towards Britain. On July 2 1776 the Continental Congress had voted in the favour of Independence. On July 4, 1776, delegates from the 13 colonies had adopted the declaration of U.S Independence and on that day it became Independent.

The 4 of July has since then been celebrated by parties, with families barbecues, foods, drinks, and more. Now planning an Independence day meal can be very difficult for some people.
