Patriotic Fourth of July Recipes

The fourth of July, also known as the U.S’s independence day has been celebrated in the U.S for many years. The actual independence dates back to the 2 of July 1776 in the 18th century. The 18th century was a time when few colonists who were considered to be radicals wanted to become independent from Great Britain. Later in the year, 1775 more colonists had come into the favor of Independence following hostility towards Britain. On July 2 1776 the Continental Congress had voted in the favour of Independence. On July 4, 1776, delegates from the 13 colonies had adopted the declaration of U.S Independence and on that day it became Independent.

The 4 of July has since then been celebrated by parties, with families barbecues, foods, drinks, and more. Now planning an Independence day meal can be very difficult for some people. They can’t just seem to figure out what type of food and recipe to prepare. But it doesn’t have to be that hard, with planning you can have a great and easy Holliday. If you are planning or preparing for the 4 of July then here are some things you should do.

The first thing to do is start on time, plan a few days ahead of time so you will be able to make all your preparations on time. The second step is to take into consideration what kinda party you are hosting, if it’s with family then consider everyone’s likes and dislikes. Now let’s dive into the recipes


Before you serve the main course or start the barbecues here some appetizers to get the ball rolling. You can serve an easy-to-make water Malone and strawberries fruit salad. Just slice some strawberries and cube out the watermelon then place them in a bowl. In the same bowl add some black pepper, a quarter cup of virgin olive oil, feta crumbles, salt, and One or 2 torn fresh basil. After the mix, serve and enjoy.

Another great and easy-to-make appetizer is some classic salsa. Just start getting a baking sheet and place a quartered onion, halved cherry tomatoes, 2 halved jalapenos, and add 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil. Sprinkle salt and some black pepper on and roast for about 20 minutes until it’s slightly charred. In a food processor add the roast vegetable, lime juice, Cumin, garlic, a quartered tomato, cilantro, a quarter teaspoon of salt and pepper. Hit the bottom then wait till it’s a bit chunky and then serve.

Side dish

A wonderful side dish to serve is the rainbow vegetable skewers. It’s easy than other vegetable skewers because it is made up of one ingredient. Other with different ingredient end up getting burned in the grill because the different vegetables cook at different speeds.

The main course

For the main course, you can grill up some hamburgers and hotdogs. You can also make some meat kebabs, grilled chicken, and if you feel like going all out add some stake on the grill and serve.
